India A to Face Australia A in ODI Series Starting October 6; Hardik Pandya Ruled Out, Suryansh Shedge Replaces Him

India A will begin their three-match ODI series against Australia A on October 6, with the first match scheduled at the CAPS Ground in Puducherry. The series will be played from October 6 to October 11, with the second ODI on October 9 and the final match on October 11.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the series as he has not yet regained full fitness. He was initially included in the India A squad but will be replaced by Suryansh Shedge. According to reports, the BCCI's Centre of Excellence believes Pandya may take considerable time to return, casting doubt over his availability for the upcoming series against New Zealand.

Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the India A side. The squad also features Rajat Patidar, Devdutt Padikkal, and Sai Sudharsan.

Australia A's tour of India began on September 22, with the two-match unofficial Test series against India A. India A won the first Test by 162 runs, while the second match ended in a draw. India A claimed the Test series 1-0.
